MEAT COROQUETTE


Salam n selamat pagi sume :-)


1st sekali terima kasih yg dtg tggl mesej n bg award, semalam kebizian lah, hari ni pun kebizian jugak sbb ada meeting kat sekolah kakak dan nmpknyer alhamdulillah dah ada tanda2 nak hujan jer nii, sejuk lah sikit kalau tak sure panas jerr ehehe.... Ni salah satu bentou hari ni + sarapan kita ni nanti :D kalau koroke ni biasanyer kita suke mkn dgn sos tomato+Mayonaise cam budak2 tuuu hihihi.... Resepi tgk kat umah KAK HANA, lebih kurang rupanyer yg biasa kita buat sbb biasanyer kita guna ayam jarang guna daging, dan mestilah sedap kan kan kan... Resepi asal kak hana ambik dr umah MAMAFAMI, thanks both of u! Mintak izin n halal resepinyer ya :-).. Resepi asal leh tgk kat SINI juga :-).. Got to go!! :D


MEAT COROQUETTE

Ingredients
  • 500g potatoes ~ peeled,boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 large onion ~ peeled and diced
  • 1 stalk spring onion ~ washed and cut small
  • salt to taste
  • ground white pepper to taste
  • 200g minced meat
  • 5 pieces canned button mushroom ~ diced small
  • 1 cup panko(Japanese bread crumb)
  • 1 egg ~ lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup rice flour -hana gune tpg katakuriko
  • enough oil for frying




Method
  • Saute minced meat and onion in skillet for 5 minutes.
  • Place mashed potatoes in a large bowl.Combine salt, ground pepper,cooked minced meat, diced button mushrooms and spring onions together, mix well.
  • Shape potatoes mixture into small balls, slightly press the potatoe balls into a cylinder or disk shape. If the potatoes are too soft, place the shaped potatoes into fridge for 30 minutes or longer.
  • Roll shaped potato balls onto rice flour, then dip into egg mixture before coating with breadcrumbs.
  • Prepare fryer or deep skillet at medium heat with oil. Place the coated croquettes into the hot oil. Fry croquette both side until golden brown.
  • Remove the fried croquettes from fryer and place on kitchen towel to drain off the excess oil.
  • Serve warm as snack or with meal.
